Student Success Statement “Character is higher than intelligence.” Randolph Waldo Emerson What I think this statement is trying to say is that if you are a good person people would look at you better than if you were a very intelligent rude person. If you went into a restaurant and you had all the money in the world because your smart with money but you’re rude no one will want to give you the service you want that’s why some stores say we have the right to refuse service to anyone. So you have to pay attention to what you do and say to people no matter how smart or higher you feel to them.
